If Only...

If Only...Zed and I were this good at academics at the Academy, life would have been a tad easier for us.

He took another written test today. If everyone (over 100 students) passed then they no longer had to wear blues (slacks and button down shirt uniform) and were then allowed to wear flight suits. Well, everyone passed and Zed again did very well at it.

Hurricane Sandy had knocked out the server to the classified computer system I'm learning how to use. It came back on this morning and we took three tests. I thankfully understood the material and did very well on all of them. This course is worth 2 college credits for the enlisted personnel in the class (credits not offered to officers due to already having degrees) so many of them are stressing over doing well, interesting to see the dynamics between officer and enlisted in the same course.

Sandy flooded much of Allen, but no damage was done to my parent's or grandparent's home. Our beloved yacht club flooded unfortunately and will take quite a bit of repairs. My family spent the day helping clear roads in the area and helping families who had some damage to their homes.

Hope you all are enjoying the pick up in updates. Updates will be flowing from now on. Between Zed and pilot training, holiday travels, and the baby many things are happening in the Davies Family lives. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
