1 Year Down...An Eternity to Go

One of the things I love about the LDS church is that when two people are sealed in the temple it's for time and all eternity, not til death do us part. On Friday, Zed and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. My mom and grandmother took Mia for the night and Zed and I were able to get away and sleep from 10-7 without getting woken up. We saw 2 movies, ate out, shopped and explored. We were getting videos and pictures the entire time reminding us of our little girl. It was a nice chance to look back and see everything we've done since May 24, 2012. We thank all of you who have helped us out, prayed for us, or been there for congratulations. We're looking forward to what this next year has in store!

3 Months Old!

We've survived being parents for 3 months now. Mia is getting really big and has such a personality. At day care she's drinking 4.5oz of milk every 3 hrs. She hasn't rolled from her back to her belly yet but she can roll to her side. Today she cried for the first time where tears came down her face. She is talking a ton now too. She's gotten good at going to bed at 830, waking up at 330 to eat and then being up 7 ready for the day.

Zed is doing well in pilot training. He has two flights under his belt and will probably get two more in this week.

A Delay

Zed didn't end up flying today. He has to pass a weather test before he can fly. The test is tomorrow at 8 and then he'll find out what time he'll be going up.

Phase II Begins

Tomorrow is Zed's first day of Phase II. Today he took a physical fitness test and scored at 94% and had a ton of briefings.

Tomorrow Zed will be in the squadron from 8am-8pm. He has a test first thing, briefings, and then his dollar ride at 120. A dollar ride is a time for the instructor to try and frazzle the students, make them puke, and give them an all around hard time. The student also "pays" for the ride, with a dollar. Zed will be giving his instructor a Spanish dollar.

From here on out he'll be pulling 12hr days and isn't allowed to leave his squadron during that time except to fly. A picture of Zed with his helmet and a picture of the T-6, what he'll be flying are below.
