Day 35

Some quick notes from the previous day: we passed a lady riding on the back of a motorcycle and reading a nook...it started raining shortly after and she hid it. We stopped at the 2nd largest Cabela's in the nation. There was also a crazy storm that hit as soon as we parked. The hail ranged from pea sized to grape size...no damage on the truck or camper thankfully.

We spent the majority of the day going on every ride possible in the park. We got early enter since we slept at the resort and that helped out a lot. Zed was not fond of the lines or humidity, but still had fun. We finished around 130 and went to Pink's for lunch. It's a hot dog place that originated in LA.

We drove to Kirtland, OH and saw the LDS sites there. We saw the first temple the saints built and the famous Newel K Whitney store where many sections of the Doctrine and Covenants were revealed.

We also took a picture at a 20ft tall rocking chair and the longest covered bridge in the US. We stopped for the night at a truck stop in Conneaut, OH.

I promise there will be a picture post once we get to Maryland. There was no internet at Cedar Point.
