Another late one. We stayed in a Walmart parking lot in Lexington, Nebraska so there was no internet and my phone was dead. Yesterday was probably also our hottest day so far, thankfully we had enough battery to run the fan and sleep under that.
So yesterday we saw a ton of different things and did a lot of driving. Some were a little out of the ordinary and others were common stops. We started off with Carhenge which is a tribute to Stonehenge in Europe. We stopped by shoe fence, saw a water tower designed as an UFO, saw the world's largest plow and the best replica of a sod house.
We began the Mormon trail backwards. We started with Scottsbluff, saw Chimney Rock, the Courthouse and Jail Rocks, we passed by Frogs Head Bluff and finished at Windlass hill looking at wagon ruts.
Funny sign of the day:
Ogallala - town in Nebraska
