New Tricks:
She's learned that if she cries she gets attention...we're breaking that. She's smiling a lot more often.
Sleeping:
She now sleeps in her crib during the night. She's consistently sleeping for 3hrs at a time, but no longer.
Eating:
She's eating a ton and chunking up well. Our bathroom scale still doesn't register her weight so she's under 10lbs.
Other Things:
We took Mia on her first road trip to see one set of my sponsor parents, the Hendricks. she did great on the way down and cried almost the entire way back. We all survived, and we'll see how she does on a plane in a few months. Our next wave of visitors start this weekend. Auntie Ray, my cousin, is coming for a few days and then Zed's sponsor mom, Melissa Bringhurst, is coming out. She loves to hang out in the front pack, it's been a savior.
Zed & Sam:
Zed has his big Scout fundraiser this weekend, a BBQ and Service Auction. Not too much is new. We're both learning how to get along with less sleep.

2wks Old
New Tricks:
Rolled from her back to her belly
Lost the black stump and has a belly button
Sleeping:
She's sleeping for only 2hrs at a time now. She spoiled us the first week sleeping for 4hrs at a time. Her favorite way to fall asleep is on Zed or my chest. Once she's out we can move her into the bassinet thankfully.
Eating:
If she's not sleeping, she's wanting to eat.
Other Things:
We got some pictures of her taken this past week. We'll be sure to share them as soon as we get them. She is using a pacifier, which helps delay the time in between feedings. She loves riding in the car, but we live in Mississippi and there are a ton of pot holes. They scare her awake :) we took her on her first walk, it wore her out. She took a 4hr nap once we got home.
Dad & Mom:
Zed went to Wood Badge (Boy Scouts for adults) this past weekend so it was a mom and daughter weekend. We made it through, but I appreciate Zed's help so much more now. I've lost 25lbs since having Mia and have another 15 to go. I still have 4wks until I can work out again though, something I'm looking forward to.

Weekly Report
Well, today Mia is one week old. She had her first doctor's appt and is doing great.
New tricks:
First projectile vomit was today as soon as we got her bathed and dressed.
Sleeping:
She alternates sleeping 2hrs and 4hrs. If we're able to keep her awake for a little bit after eating she sleeps longer.
Eating:
She eats about 2.5oz every 2-4hrs, basically whenever she wakes up.
Other Things:
She weighed 7lbs today at the doctor and was 20.25in long. The doctor said we have a very healthy little girl. She hates getting her diaper changed and loves staring at lights. We're pretty sure she's going to be a daddy's girl.
Zed and me:
Zed is keeping busy with scouts. This weekend he'll be participating in wood badge. He has about a month until pilot training starts. I am able to fit into my pre-pregnant jeans! I haven't stepped on a scale yet so I'm not sure how much I've lost, I'm just ready to be cleared to exercise.

Weekly Report
She's three days old! She's a really good baby and we're gradually learning the difference in her cries. I tried on my pre-pregnant jeans today and they fit!! I still have some belly, but it was nice to be able to do up those pants.
I'm keeping track of different things she does (firsts) and each week I'll give a run down. I'll post pictures and important updates in between the weekly reports. Enjoy and let me know if there's any info you would like included.
New tricks:
Hiccups
Smiling
Finger holding
Sleeping:
She sleeps about 3hrs at a time and then wakes up to eat. She sleeps pretty easy during the night and during the day she likes to just look around.
Eating:
I'm breastfeeding and it's going really well. I'm lucky that she and I were able to get on each others schedule pretty quick.
Other things:
She is O+ so she took after Zed on that count. No matter how tight we wrap her up her feet find a way out, another thing Zed passed along to her.
